“I have decided to stick with LOVE. Hate is too great a burden to bear. Hatred paralyzes life; LOVE releases it. Hatred confuses life; LOVE harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; LOVE illuminates life.

Unlike the plagues of the dark ages or contemporary diseases we do not understand….What is lacking is not sufficient knowledge of the solution, but universal CONSCIOUSNESS of the GRAVITY of the problem and the education of BILLIONS who are its VICTIMS.

I have an abiding faith in America and an audacious faith in the future of humankind. I refuse to ACCEPT despair as the final response to the ambiguities of history. I refuse to ACCEPT the idea that the “isness” of man’s present nature makes him morally incapable of reaching for the internal “oughtness” that forever confronts him. I refuse to ACCEPT the idea that man or woman is mere flotsam an jetsom to the river of life, unable to influence the unfolding events which surround them.”

And so….”Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only LIGHT can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only LOVE can do that.

He, she or they that passively ACCEPTS evil is as much involved in it as they who helps to perpetuate it. They who ACCEPTS evil without protesting against is really COOPERATING with it.

Life’s persistent and most URGENT question is what are you doing for others?

And “I have a DREAM…” That “PEACE is not merely a distant goal that we seek, but a means by which we arrive at that goal. PEACE is more precious than diamonds, silver or gold.” I have always believed that “an injustice anywhere is a threat to injustice everywhere” and that “our lives begin to end when we become SILENT about the things that matter. I believe armed with TRUTH and unconditional LOVE, that will have the final word in reality. That the ultimate measure of a person is not where they stand in moments of comfort and convenience, but where they stand at times of CHALLENGE and controversy.

Sooner or later the people of the world will have to discover a way to live together in PEACE, and thereby transform this pending COSMIC elegy into a creative PSALM of brotherhood and sisterhood. We must ACCEPT finite disappoint, but never lose finite HOPE. There is no GAIN without struggle.

Never, never…be afraid to do what is right.”

And so it is.

And so it is..

And so it is…💫
